How does an SYC case protect my instrument?

SYC cases are built with high-performance carbon fiber shells that offer exceptional impact resistance while remaining lightweight. The interior is precision-molded with protective padding and a tailored suspension system to securely cradle your instrument and reduce shock and vibration during travel. Every detail, from the seal to the hardware, is carefully designed to keep your instrument safe in any condition.

What materials are used in SYC cases?

We use aerospace-grade prepreg carbon fiber, the same class of material found in high-end automotive applications like the body panels of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. This premium composite offers exceptional strength, lightweight performance, and a sleek, refined surface. Where do you ship from?

All orders are shipped from our fulfillment locations in the U.K. and the U.S., depending on your region.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs, duties, and taxes will be calculated at checkout based on your destination.

How long will my order take to arrive?

In-stock items ship within 1–2 business days. Delivery times vary depending on your location and selected shipping method. You’ll receive a tracking number as soon as your order is dispatched.

How can I take care of my case?

To keep your SYC case in optimal condition, we recommend the following care guidelines:

Exterior Care

  • Surface Cleaning: Use a soft, non-abrasive cloth slightly dampened with water to wipe the carbon fiber shell. Avoid chemical cleaners or alcohol-based products which may damage the finish.
  • Scuff Protection: Prevent contact with sharp or abrasive surfaces to avoid scratches or dings.
  • Storage: Store the case indoors, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Prolonged heat exposure may distort the materials or weaken adhesives.

Interior Care

  • Padding and Lining: Avoid placing damp items inside the case. If the interior becomes soiled, gently vacuum or use a dry microfiber cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners.
  • Humidity Control: Consider using a humidity pack if storing your instrument for long periods to protect both the instrument and lining from moisture damage.

Latches, Hinges, and Hardware

  • Latch Maintenance: Periodically check the one-touch locking system to ensure smooth operation. Wipe down latches with a dry cloth and apply a small amount of silicone lubricant if necessary.
  • Hinges & Screws: Inspect for any loosening over time. If any hardware feels loose, tighten gently with appropriate tools. Do not over-tighten.

General Tips

  • Travel Protection: Always use the protective cover when flying or checking in the case. If your model includes a dust bag or cover, use it during storage.
  • Weight Load: Do not stack heavy items on top of your case to avoid pressure damage.
  • Labeling: Use a removable luggage tag rather than permanent adhesive labels to avoid residue or surface damage.

Returns & Warranty

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy for U.S. orders and a 14-day policy for international orders. Items must be unused and returned in original packaging with all accessories. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility unless the product is defective.

What does the warranty cover?

All of our cases include a two-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty does not apply to normal wear and tear, misuse, or any damage to the instrument itself. After the initial two-year period, we offer ongoing maintenance and repair services at a reasonable cost to support the long-term care of your case.
